On waifus and Xmas!!!

I can’t really remember when the term “Waifu” entered pop culture, but I do think it might at least date from the release of the original “Macross” or “Robotech” as it was remade in North America. I remember reading the rule “Minmei is a bimbo.” (#17 https://www.abcb.com/laws/index.htm)

I think it’s around the time I was 12yo when I saw that concept starting to really come out into pop culture…with the release of the “Sailor Moon” anime.

At 14yo I finally found my waifu. She’s not from an anime, but she’s still from Japanese culture…I first saw her in a pixelated bikini (I found her original picture here: https://www.ign.com/articles/2010/08/18/samus-a-visual-history-of-metroids-heroine-2)

So my waifu is Samus Aran, the kick-ass, though-as-nails galactic bounty hunter from the Metroid (c) series!

I’m not super with drawing the human form. Being an engineer, my skills are more toward technical drawing, although I’m pretty good at doing hand-drawn sketches of buildings and landscape for some reasons… anyway. I went to AI drawings to make pictures of my waifu!

So here they are:

Yeah I made them Xmas-y! ☺️

I have no qualms about using AI for pictures…I don’t intend on selling them anyway!

Note: I’m putting the pictures on this page under Personal Use only and adding this for this page:
